Microgamings version uses four full decks of cards and these are fully shuffled before each game commences. The game rules are fairly liberal so we shall now take a look at each one.

You are allowed to split any two cards that share the same denomination or value, like a King and a Jack, or for example two Six's. If you choose to split a hand then it will be split into two new hands and you will need to place a new wager of the same value as your first onto this new hand.

Aces may also be split but if you do split and are then dealt a ten valued card this hand will be deemed to be a 21 hand and not a Blackjack. You could end up playing a maximum of four hands if you keep splitting. But regarding Aces they can only be split once, and as such hands will only be dealt one card after the split.

The double down playing rules attached to the game of Vegas Strip Blackjack are very simple to understand. You may double down your hand once after receiving your first two cards. Plus you are also permitted to double down after a split, and each double down will cost you another wager equal too your initial wager.

The Dealer by virtue of the rules must stand on all 17 hands. and as this is a hole card game so the Dealer will peek and be checking for Blackjack when he is holding a Ten or an Ace.
